The Women by Kristen Hannah
I was disappointed in this story about the women who served as Army nurses in Viet Nam. It is definitely a tale worth telling, but I was hoping for a deeper dive into the politics, more about PTSD and the psychological impact, more about the aftermath. The book is about an immature young woman who gets her world rocked by the horrors of war while pursuing her love life during and after. The important issues were more of an honorable mention. The writing was fine, but it was too shallow for me. I have to give it a “meh” rating
